This wiki is for Ancient Indian Astrology - Including Vedic, Non-Vedic, Tantric, Yevana Jain streams of thoughts. Articles on both the Rasi (Sign) based system and Nakshatra based system is encouraged. Scholarly articles of ancient astrology quoting authentic references, providing new logical insights about the ancient system would be appreciated. A search into the theoretical, holistic scientific foundation of ancient Indian astrology by exploring the -
1) the ancient astrological predictive systems
2) the supporting evidence provided by the ancient festivals and practices, history, astronomy etc
- would be highly appreciated. Both the theoretical and practical approach on revealing the many facets of Ancient Indian Astrology - thus helping the revival of stream of knowledge provided to the posterity by the great seers, is expected to happen. Let us hope that the efforts in this wiki will help in restructuring and reorganizing the vast knowledge related to ancient Indian astrology (which is currently in a unorganized and demolished state) and thus making it well structured, logical, and authentic. We share our regards and love to all who appreciate and supports this aim/effort with their valuable knowledge input.
